Running a business isn’t just about cutting deals and driving revenue. It’s about people and building relationships as well.
We’re big golf fans here at Vendita, as such a day at the Valspar Championship was the perfect way to show our team how thankful we are for their hard work and to foster relationships.
The tournament was founded in 2000 as the Tampa Bay Classic and was formerly an alternate event in autumn and late summer.
Since its inception, The Valspar has driven over 150,000 attendants annually, with numbers growing every year. The Valspar Championship is operated by the not-for-profit organization, Copperhead Charities, Inc.
Here at Vendita, we love to give back to the community (check out our charity page). One of the ways that we do this is through our philanthropy efforts.
We support the Valspar Championship not only because it is a fun time for all our staff, but in large part, because they give back to the community.
Through their Copperhead Charities, they’ve been helping those in need in the Tampa Bay Area since the ’70s. In fact, since they have generated over $43 million for local charities. More than 80 Tampa Bay area charities actively participate in the Valspar Championship.
Things will certainly be different this year because of Covid, however, we’re glad that we’re still able to show our appreciation to our employees and clients through this great event.
